If coffee is your favorite part of a drinks menu, Cafe Luce in Hell's Kitchen offers two cocktails to compare. Our Espresso Martini and Caffè Martini both include espresso and Kahlúa, but they start with different spirits. That difference gives you a useful way to choose without guessing from the names.

What is in the Espresso Martini?

Our Espresso Martini is made with Holiday Vodka, Kahlúa and espresso. It is listed at $19 on the current Hell's Kitchen drinks menu. If you prefer a vodka-based coffee cocktail, this is the one to look at first.

How is the Caffe Martini different?

The Caffè Martini uses Código Reposado Tequila, Kahlúa and fresh espresso. The current menu lists it at $21. Choose it if you want to explore the tequila-based option, or ask the bartender to help you compare the two based on the spirits you usually enjoy.

The practical distinction is the base spirit: vodka in the Espresso Martini and reposado tequila in the Caffè Martini. Both contain alcohol and coffee. If you have questions about ingredients or preparation, ask before ordering.

Plan a coffee cocktail around your dinner

Browse the food and drink menus together while making your plans. Decide whether your table wants to start with drinks, order them alongside dinner or save that decision until later in the meal. That simple conversation helps everyone arrive with the same plan, especially when you have tickets for a show.

For a pre-theater visit, share your curtain time with the team and allow enough time to eat and travel to the theater. If someone at your table would prefer a different drink, our cocktail guide covers more of the bar menu, including spritzes and non-alcoholic options.

Reserve at Cafe Luce Hell's Kitchen

These coffee cocktails belong to our Hell's Kitchen menu at 319 W 51st Street. Visit Monday through Friday, 4 PM to 11 PM, or Saturday and Sunday, 11 AM to 11 PM. Reserve your Hell's Kitchen table or call 212-510-8611. Check the live menu for current prices and availability.
